How does it work?
Evolution's advanced reporting interface allows you to quickly pull data from
all areas of a company using Evolution. A search bar on the left of the screen
enables specific search parameters to be set which will then generate specific
results for a given report.
Drag and drop fields within each report enable the information displayed to
be adjusted to be as specific as necessary with right click options to
access a 'column chooser' tool to remove or add additional fields to a report.
Each report contains the 'column chooser' option to customize reports by pulling
fields into or taking out of a given report by clicking and dragging a
field from the top of a report into the open Column Chooser tool when its open.
This provides an on-demand customization feature to shape an existing format of
a report so information can be shaped as necessary.
A 'Save As' feature enables a user to Save a given report with a name to
generate the same report repeatedly. An 'Export to Excel' and other file export
options are readily available through the Print Preview screen. Email your
report directly from the print preview screen to an individual or group for easy
communication of reporting results.
An Example of an Advanced Report generated from My Business
a report containing data using the criteria of:
- A Sales Profitability Report for the last 30 days
- Broken down into Sales by Product
- For each individual Sales representative
- That includes accessories sales
- And a breakdown by customer and product for individual sales
- Exported to an Excel Spreadsheet
- And emailed to the Sales Staff directly.
The above example would have required numerous steps including exporting the
spreadsheet to Excel and then saving it separately before sending it as an
attachment on an email through an older software system.
A similar report would also have taken days to produce before going through
different Accounting Managers, Sales Managers, Web IT Managers, Division
Managers, and others before it was ready to share with the sales staff. Each
individual involved in this would likely have several communications with
different individuals to proof the data and format before finalizing the
report. In short, many hours would be invested before such a
report can be made.
